X Ray Left Knee AP Standing View

A standing AP and lateral knee X‑ray are two weight‑bearing radiographs used to assess knee alignment, joint space, cartilage loss, arthritis, deformity and fractures. The standing AP (anteroposterior) view images the knee front-to-back while the lateral view captures the side profile. Weight-bearing images better show joint space narrowing under load. The test is quick and uses low-dose radiation.
