Evidence that vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) clears skin is limited and mixed. Small studies and anecdotal reports suggest high‑dose oral B5 or topical pantothenate may reduce sebum and improve acne in some people by supporting the skin barrier and oil regulation, but robust large clinical trials are lacking. Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) supports cell metabolism and may help scalp and hair-shaft health; deficiency can cause brittle hair.
