IOPA X Ray

An IOPA X‑ray (intraoral periapical radiograph) is a small intraoral image of one or more teeth and their surrounding bone. It shows tooth roots, bone levels, infections, abscesses, fractures, root canal status and nearby restorations. Performed with a sensor or film held inside the mouth, it’s quick, provides high-detail images, and uses a low radiation dose for diagnosis and treatment planning.
