EMG (electromyography) assesses electrical activity in muscles to detect muscle disease, denervation, and disorders of the neuromuscular junction. Together they differentiate muscle versus nerve causes of weakness, numbness, or pain.

NCV (nerve conduction velocity) of the left lower limb measures how fast electrical impulses travel along peripheral leg nerves. It evaluates motor and sensory nerves (e.g., peroneal, tibial, sural) to detect neuropathy, injury, or demyelination.
