MRA (magnetic resonance angiography) and MRV (magnetic resonance venography) are MRI-based scans that visualize arteries and veins, respectively. They produce detailed, noninvasive images to detect aneurysms, stenosis, vascular malformations, or clots. Techniques may use contrast (gadolinium) or special sequences.
