X Ray Whole Spine Lateral View

A whole spine X‑ray (lateral) is a side‑view radiograph capturing the entire spine from cervical to sacrum. It evaluates alignment, curvature (scoliosis, kyphosis), vertebral fractures, degeneration and sagittal balance. Often performed standing to assess posture and may require multiple images stitched together. Preparation involves removing metal and following radiographer instructions; radiation dose is low relative to diagnostic benefit.
