X RAY PELVIS WITH BOTH HIP FROG LEG VIEW

A frog view is an X‑ray hip projection (frog‑leg lateral) obtained with the patient supine, hip flexed about 45°, abducted and externally rotated. This positioning profiles the femoral head, neck and acetabulum, improving detection of femoral neck fractures, slipped capital femoral epiphysis, developmental dysplasia and Perthes disease.
