What is a X Ray Dorso Lumbar Spine AP And Lateral Standing Test in Indore ?
What is X RAY DORSO LUMBAR SPINE AP AND LATERAL STANDING?
X RAY DORSO LUMBAR SPINE AP AND LATERAL STANDING produces X-ray images of the mid and lower spine. It shows the vertebrae, their alignment, and visible breaks or deformities. It is non-invasive and shows internal structures directly, providing information that blood and urine tests cannot.
What does X RAY DORSO LUMBAR SPINE AP AND LATERAL STANDING show?
The test does not directly measure soft tissues, but it can suggest disc space narrowing or instability. The spine supports the body and protects nerves, so changes can affect movement and pain. Doctors use these images to find fractures, arthritis, scoliosis, compression fractures from osteoporosis, and signs of spinal instability. Standing views are useful because they show how weight affects alignment.
What symptoms suggest X RAY DORSO LUMBAR SPINE AP AND LATERAL STANDING may be needed?
A doctor may recommend X RAY DORSO LUMBAR SPINE AP AND LATERAL STANDING when a patient reports localised pain, swelling, or injury, a lump or restricted movement, or an abnormal finding on an earlier test that needs to be examined directly. In Indore, you can book this test online with home collection available in LIG Colony, Annapurna, and beyond.
How is X RAY DORSO LUMBAR SPINE AP AND LATERAL STANDING done?
No needle or sample is involved. At an accredited imaging centre serving LIG Colony and Annapurna, Indore, a radiographer performs the scan, which is painless and usually completed within 10 to 15 minutes. A qualified radiologist interprets the images and issues a report you can access on GetVisit. (Home collection does not apply to imaging.)
How accurate is X RAY DORSO LUMBAR SPINE AP AND LATERAL STANDING?
Image quality and interpretation are the two pillars of accuracy. GetVisit's accredited centres serving LIG Colony and Annapurna, Indore maintain modern equipment, and a qualified radiologist reviews each study before the report is issued.
Are there any risks to X RAY DORSO LUMBAR SPINE AP AND LATERAL STANDING?
Imaging is safe and non-invasive. Ultrasound and MRI use no ionising radiation; X-ray and CT use carefully controlled low doses justified by the diagnostic benefit. Inform staff at the LIG Colony or Annapurna, Indore centre if you are pregnant or have implants or metal devices, so precautions can be taken.
