What is a X Ray Both Wrists AP View Test in Ludhiana ?
What is X Ray Both Wrists AP View?
An X Ray Both Wrists AP View produces front-to-back images of both wrists at the same time. It shows the bones, joint spaces, alignment, and growth plates. It is non-invasive and shows internal structures directly, providing information that blood and urine tests cannot.
What does X Ray Both Wrists AP View show?
This view helps detect fractures, dislocations, arthritis, infections, and congenital or developmental problems. Doctors use it after injuries and for unexplained wrist pain or swelling. It also helps monitor healing after treatment and track chronic joint changes. The scan is quick and painless and uses a small amount of radiation.
What symptoms suggest X Ray Both Wrists AP View may be needed?
A doctor may recommend X Ray Both Wrists AP View when a patient reports localised pain, swelling, or injury, a lump or restricted movement, or an abnormal finding on an earlier test that needs to be examined directly. In Ludhiana, you can book this test online with home collection available in Kitchlu Nagar, Ferozepur Road, and beyond.
How is X Ray Both Wrists AP View done?
This is an imaging scan, not a blood or fluid test, so no sample is collected. A qualified radiographer positions you at an accredited GetVisit-partnered imaging centre in Kitchlu Nagar or Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana and captures the images in a few minutes. A radiologist reviews them and your report is made available through GetVisit.
How accurate is X Ray Both Wrists AP View?
GetVisit partners only with accredited imaging centres in and around Kitchlu Nagar, Ferozepur Road, and Ludhiana that use maintained, calibrated equipment and qualified radiographers. Every scan is interpreted by a qualified radiologist, and reports are accepted by hospital networks, specialists, and insurers across India.
Are there any risks to X Ray Both Wrists AP View?
A standard X-ray uses a very low dose of radiation considered safe for diagnostic use; ultrasound uses sound waves and involves no radiation at all. If you are or might be pregnant, tell the centre in Kitchlu Nagar or Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana beforehand so the safest approach can be chosen. There is no needle and no recovery time.

X Ray Both Wrists AP View can also detect growth-plate injuries in children that need special care.

Who should get X Ray Both Wrists AP View done in Ludhiana?
Ludhiana's large industrial workforce, ghee- and dairy-rich Punjabi diet driving high diabetes and cardiovascular prevalence, winter air pollution, and seasonal monsoon infections make regular preventive diagnostic testing an important habit for residents citywide. Imaging benefits patients with pain, swelling, a palpable lump, injury, or an abnormal earlier finding, as well as those monitoring a known condition. GetVisit helps residents of Kitchlu Nagar, Ferozepur Road, and across Ludhiana book accredited imaging with clear pricing.
What can X Ray Both Wrists AP View help detect?
It helps diagnose fractures, dislocations, infections, and joint degeneration and guides treatment like casting or surgery. Abnormal results may come from accidents, repetitive stress, inflammatory disease, infection, or long-term steroid use. A family history of early arthritis or congenital wrist issues may make this test more important.
What do X Ray Both Wrists AP View results mean?

How often should X Ray Both Wrists AP View be repeated?
For preventive screening with a normal baseline: annually for most adults above 35. For monitoring a known condition: at the interval your specialist recommends, typically every 3 to 6 months for active conditions and annually for stable, well-controlled ones.
