What is a X Ray Both Thigh with Knee AP View Test in Patna ?
What is X Ray Both Thigh with Knee AP View?
An X-ray of both thighs with knee AP view creates front-to-back images of the femurs and knee joints. It shows bone shape, alignment, joint spaces, and any breaks or deformities. It is non-invasive and shows internal structures directly, providing information that blood and urine tests cannot.
What does X Ray Both Thigh with Knee AP View show?
This information is important because bones and joints support movement and bear weight. The test helps detect fractures, dislocations, arthritis, bone infections, tumors, and growth-plate issues. Doctors use it after injuries to confirm or rule out broken bones. They also use it to monitor healing, plan surgery, or follow chronic joint conditions.
What symptoms suggest X Ray Both Thigh with Knee AP View may be needed?
A doctor may recommend X Ray Both Thigh with Knee AP View when a patient reports localised pain, swelling, or injury, a lump or restricted movement, or an abnormal finding on an earlier test that needs to be examined directly. In Patna, you can book this test online with home collection available in Sheikhpura, Mithapur, and beyond.
How is X Ray Both Thigh with Knee AP View done?
This is an imaging scan, not a blood or fluid test, so no sample is collected. A qualified radiographer positions you at an accredited GetVisit-partnered imaging centre in Sheikhpura or Mithapur, Patna and captures the images in a few minutes. A radiologist reviews them and your report is made available through GetVisit.
How accurate is X Ray Both Thigh with Knee AP View?
GetVisit partners only with accredited imaging centres in and around Sheikhpura, Mithapur, and Patna that use maintained, calibrated equipment and qualified radiographers. Every scan is interpreted by a qualified radiologist, and reports are accepted by hospital networks, specialists, and insurers across India.
Are there any risks to X Ray Both Thigh with Knee AP View?
A standard X-ray uses a very low dose of radiation considered safe for diagnostic use; ultrasound uses sound waves and involves no radiation at all. If you are or might be pregnant, tell the centre in Sheikhpura or Mithapur, Patna beforehand so the safest approach can be chosen. There is no needle and no recovery time.
Did you know?
The price of an AP and lateral knee X‑ray varies by country and facility: in India private diagnostic centers typically charge about ₹200-₹800; in the UK it is free via public care but private clinics may charge about £30-£80; in the US self‑pay costs roughly $50-$250 (hospital fees can be higher).
