When does a doctor order X RAY BOTH HINDFOOT ALIGNMENT LONG AXIAL VIEW(WEIGHT BEARING)?

X RAY BOTH HINDFOOT ALIGNMENT LONG AXIAL VIEW(WEIGHT BEARING) is ordered as part of foot and ankle imaging when doctors evaluate heel pain, deformity, or injury. It helps diagnose flatfoot, hindfoot varus/valgus, fractures, and arthritic changes.

Who should get WEIGHT BEARING done in Ranchi?

Ranchi's administrative and education economy, growing urban diabetes and cardiovascular prevalence, plateau climate with a strong monsoon infection season, and rising sedentary work make regular preventive testing worthwhile citywide. Imaging benefits patients with pain, swelling, a palpable lump, injury, or an abnormal earlier finding, as well as those monitoring a known condition. GetVisit helps residents of Harmu, Kanke, and across Ranchi book accredited imaging with clear pricing.

What can WEIGHT BEARING help detect?

The conditions diagnosable through WEIGHT BEARING depend on the specific markers the test measures. Results either confirm a suspected diagnosis, support a clinical suspicion requiring further investigation, or effectively exclude the condition the test was screening for. Abnormal results can come from trauma, overuse, congenital differences, or progressive arthritis and past surgery. Family history of foot deformities or hereditary flatfoot can make this view more important for assessment and planning.

What do WEIGHT BEARING results mean?

Findings are graded from normal to significant, and comparison with any previous scan shows whether a known finding is stable, improving, or progressing. Your doctor explains the report in the context of your symptoms. See the FAQs below for more detail on this scan.

How often should WEIGHT BEARING be repeated?

For preventive screening with a normal baseline: annually for most adults above 35. For monitoring a known condition: at the interval your specialist recommends, typically every 3 to 6 months for active conditions and annually for stable, well-controlled ones.

What happens after your WEIGHT BEARING results are ready?

Results are delivered to your phone and stored securely on GetVisit. Any value the laboratory flags as critical is escalated for urgent review, and for everything else your doctor or a verified specialist can guide the next step at your convenience.
