What is a X Ray Both Clavicle AP view Test in Aurangabad ?
What is X Ray Both Clavicle AP view?
An X Ray Both Clavicle AP view produces a frontal X-ray image of both clavicles (collarbones) and the nearby shoulder structures. It shows bone shape, alignment, and any breaks or displacement. It is non-invasive and shows internal structures directly, providing information that blood and urine tests cannot.
What does X Ray Both Clavicle AP view show?
The test does not measure blood or chemicals. Instead, it gives a clear picture of bones and nearby soft tissue swelling. This view helps doctors find fractures, dislocations, bone infections, growth-plate problems in children, arthritis changes, and some tumors. It matters because clavicle injuries are common after falls, sports, or accidents and need accurate imaging to guide treatment.
What symptoms suggest X Ray Both Clavicle AP view may be needed?
X Ray Both Clavicle AP view is generally requested as part of a imaging assessment. Doctors commonly investigate this area when someone reports localised pain, swelling, or injury, a lump or restricted movement, or an abnormal finding on an earlier test that needs to be examined directly. Whether X Ray Both Clavicle AP view specifically is the right test depends on your history and what your doctor is looking for. In Aurangabad, you can book this test online and check whether home collection reaches Satara Parisar, Osmanpura or your address.
How is X Ray Both Clavicle AP view done?
This is an imaging scan, not a blood or fluid test, so no sample is collected. A qualified radiographer positions you at an accredited GetVisit-partnered imaging centre in Satara Parisar or Osmanpura, Aurangabad and captures the images in a few minutes. A radiologist reviews them and your report is made available through GetVisit.
How accurate is X Ray Both Clavicle AP view?
GetVisit partners only with accredited imaging centres in and around Satara Parisar, Osmanpura, and Aurangabad that use maintained, calibrated equipment and qualified radiographers. Every scan is interpreted by a qualified radiologist, and reports are accepted by hospital networks, specialists, and insurers across India.
Are there any risks to X Ray Both Clavicle AP view?
A standard X-ray uses a very low dose of radiation considered safe for diagnostic use; ultrasound uses sound waves and involves no radiation at all. If you are or might be pregnant, tell the centre in Satara Parisar or Osmanpura, Aurangabad beforehand so the safest approach can be chosen. There is no needle and no recovery time.
Did you know?
The best radiographic view for the clavicle is an AP view with cephalic (cranial) tube angulation of about 15-30°, which projects the entire clavicle without foreshortening and shows fracture alignment and displacement.

Why Take a X Ray Both Clavicle AP view Test in Aurangabad ?
When does a doctor order X Ray Both Clavicle AP view?
X Ray Both Clavicle AP view is usually ordered alone or as part of shoulder or trauma imaging panels. Doctors request it after direct shoulder or chest impact, visible deformity, pain, swelling, or limited arm movement.
Who should get X Ray Both Clavicle AP view done in Aurangabad?
Aurangabad's automotive and pharmaceutical industrial belt, semi-arid climate with water scarcity, shift-driven work patterns, rising diabetes prevalence, and monsoon infection season make regular preventive testing worthwhile. Those who benefit most from X Ray Both Clavicle AP view include patients needing structural assessment that bloodwork cannot provide, and anyone under surveillance for a previously detected abnormality in Aurangabad.
What can X Ray Both Clavicle AP view help detect?
It helps diagnose fractures, dislocations, growth plate injuries, infection, or tumors. Abnormal findings often arise from falls, sports injuries, osteoporosis, or infection; a family history of bone disorders may prompt earlier imaging.
What do X Ray Both Clavicle AP view results mean?
An imaging report describes what the scan shows and whether it is normal or reveals a specific finding. A qualified radiologist interprets the images, and your doctor explains what any finding means for you and whether a further test or treatment is needed. The FAQs below cover what this scan can and cannot show.
How often should X Ray Both Clavicle AP view be repeated?
For preventive screening with a normal baseline: annually for most adults above 35. For monitoring a known condition: at the interval your specialist recommends, typically every 3 to 6 months for active conditions and annually for stable, well-controlled ones.
What happens after your X Ray Both Clavicle AP view results are ready?
Your GetVisit digital report is delivered to your phone as soon as results are authorised. Share it directly with your doctor via the app, or book a consultation with a GetVisit-verified specialist on the same platform. Critical values outside a safe range are flagged by the laboratory for urgent clinical review.
