MRI Lumbar Spine with Screening of Sacroiliac Joint

An MRI of the lumbar spine with sacroiliac joints is a non-invasive imaging test that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the lower spine, intervertebral discs, nerve roots, ligaments, and sacroiliac joints. It detects disc herniation, nerve compression, inflammation, infection, fractures, and degenerative or inflammatory sacroiliitis. Contrast dye may be used; there’s no ionising radiation.
