The last routine scan in an uncomplicated pregnancy is the mid‑pregnancy anatomy (level 2) scan at about 18–20 weeks. Additional third‑trimester ultrasounds are not routine and are performed only if indicated—for fetal growth, placental position, reduced movements or bleeding.
