What is a EMG and NCV Both Upper Limbs Test in Kanpur ?
What is EMG and NCV Both Upper Limbs?
EMG (electromyography) and NCV (nerve conduction velocity) measure electrical signals in muscles and nerves of the arms. EMG records the electrical activity produced by muscles when they are at rest and during contraction.
What does EMG and NCV Both Upper Limbs measure?
NCV measures how fast and how strongly electrical signals travel along nerves. These tests show whether nerves are damaged, compressed, or not working properly. Doctors use the results to locate the problem, decide on treatments such as surgery or physiotherapy, and monitor recovery or progression over time.

Why Take a EMG and NCV Both Upper Limbs Test in Kanpur ?
When does a doctor order EMG and NCV Both Upper Limbs?
EMG and NCV Both Upper Limbs are neurophysiology tests often ordered together when patients have arm numbness, tingling, weakness, pain, or unexplained muscle changes. They help pinpoint whether symptoms come from nerve compression, nerve damage, nerve root problems, or muscle disease.
Who should get EMG and NCV Both Upper Limbs done in Kanpur?
