A leg ultrasound (Doppler/duplex) visualizes blood vessels, showing blood flow, blockages, clots (deep vein thrombosis), valve function and venous reflux. It detects arterial narrowing, plaques, aneurysms, reduced circulation, and maps varicose veins. It can also identify soft-tissue abnormalities such as fluid collections or masses. It's noninvasive and helps guide diagnosis and treatment of circulatory conditions.

A left leg color Doppler is a non-invasive ultrasound that uses color-coded Doppler imaging to visualize blood flow in the arteries and veins of the left leg. It assesses flow direction, velocity and detects problems such as deep vein thrombosis, venous insufficiency or arterial narrowing.
