Elevated IgE is non‑specific: it supports but doesn’t confirm diagnosis and doesn’t reliably predict severity. Your clinician may order specific IgE tests and clinical evaluation to identify the cause and guide treatment.

The PhadiaTop IgE test is a blood screening assay that detects IgE antibodies to a panel of common inhalant allergens. Avoid tobacco smoke, strong fragrances and aerosol sprays, damp indoor environments, insect stings, and harsh cleaning chemicals.
