A toe MRI typically requires about twenty to forty minutes of scanning. Including check-in, positioning and post-scan checks, expect thirty to sixty minutes at the imaging center. If contrast dye is needed, add roughly ten to twenty minutes. Total duration depends on the imaging protocol, additional sequences and patient factors (movement, hardware), so confirm timing with the radiology department.

An MRI of the foot uses a strong magnet and radio waves to create detailed images. Ultrasound or Doppler assessments usually take 15–30 minutes. If additional views, comparison images, or specialist evaluation are needed, the appointment can run longer.
