- Sesame Oil
“Open sesame.” Sesame oil is quite the find to repair damaged and dry hair. Highly rich in minerals and vitamins that are helpful for dry scalp, this oil also improves blood circulation. Mix some sesame oil and lemon juice and apply it on the scalp for 1 hour. Rinse with shampoo.
- Coconut oil
Coconut oil for dry hair is the staple for every advice that is dedicated to maintaining healthy hair. Just a little bit of coconut oil massaged on dry scalp a night before you rinse it off with shampoo works just like magic! A little tip : Use warm coconut oil for better result.
- Curry leaves

- Bananas
Often termed as the best conditioner for dry hair. The potassium and antioxidant content in bananas help in enhancing the beauty of your dry locks. Blend in 2 bananas with olive oil and honey to make a paste. Rinse it with shampoo. For better results add egg or honey along with honey.
- Black tea
Works best for dry damaged hair. Seep 2 tea bags in a cup of hot water, allow it to cool down and apply it evenly on the scalp for 20 – 30 minutes. Then rinse it off.
Remember to always use a wide tooth comb to style your hair or use your fingers instead. Also do not forget to drink 10 -12 glasses of water each day.
